Our camping programs use a combination of team connection, challenge activities and processes to get the best out of the people we work with.
Years 6 and 7
Transition
‘Excited’, ‘scared’ and ‘apprehensive’, are some of the ways year 6 and 7 students describe their feelings about the move to high school.
Our dynamic transition program celebrates the end of primary school and builds the skills and thinking required for the exciting journey ahead into high school. Our program works with the skills of resilience, bravery and adaptability to support this transitional period.
On a social and emotional level, our processes look at self-awareness and relationship development.
Years 7 and 8
Connection
Embarking on the journey to adulthood, students are navigating new friendship groups and discovering their own character and strengths.
Our Year 7 & 8 programs are designed to spark curiosity, build meaningful and lasting connections and have students asking the question: Who am I becoming?
Our program works with the skills of exploration, connection and strength to support this transitional period. On a social and emotional level, our processes look at self-awareness, self-management and relationship development.
Years 9 and 10
Challenge
When our young people are in the thick of their transition into adulthood, the road can get bumpy and confusing. This journey-based program uses adventure and challenge to find character and strengths start conversations about the stuff that really matters to young adults. We love seeing the magic that can happen when students are given the space to explore, connect and find out that there is more in them than they think possible.
Our program works with the skills of optimism, perseverance and responsibility to support this transitional period.
On a social and emotional level our processes look at self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making and relationship development.
Years 11 and 12
Reflection or service retreat
A time when transformation can take place amongst your students, while juggling responsibility and decision making. We purposefully design a journey or retreat for reflection, deep learning and connection, an environment ripe for profound social and emotional development. This program is packed with opportunities for students to take charge of how they show up, how they support each other and how these learnings translate to life beyond the school experience.
Our program works with the skills of community, building, critical thinking, collaboration, and mastery to support this transitional period.
On a social and emotional level our processes look at self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness and relationship development.
